Invite us to speak at your church, congregation, or civic organization! Some of our previous speaking engagements have include leading chapel worship at Columbia Seminary, speaking at the Disciples of Christ NW District Clergy group, addressing Luke's Episcopal Church's adult education program. We've even spoken at academic conferences like the American Academy of Religion.
L’Arche community members are eager to tell our stories and to hear the stories of others. We welcome invitations to visit other groups or communities to explore questions about living with differences, love, brokenness, joy, pain, and more. Our Speakers Bureau is prepared to come and lead a dialogue around topics that we've learned about through years of communal life, including Welcoming the Stranger, Crossing Lines of Diversity, and The Power of Vulnerability in Community. Whatever your group’s mission or history, if you care about these topics or are simply curious to learn what L’Arche is all about, we would love the opportunity to visit with you so that we can learn from one another.
